Hooray! It's the ttoktv Rules!
We're not that big on rules here at ttoktv, but we do have to have a few of them to keep things running smoothly. Please heed them carefully, as they're there for a reason - to protect the site and its users, so we do have to take any infraction seriously.
The thing to remember about rules is, new ones only have to be created when some guy finds himself unable to conform to the normal standards of common sense and social etiquette. Please try your best not to be that guy!

| :: Rules Regarding Avatars |
The allowed formats are .gif, .jpg and .png.
Be considerate. Resize your images to a width of 150 px and a size of no more than 150 KB. (Browsers will rescale them anyway: smaller images will be expanded and will not look good; larger images will also not look good resized, and will waste bandwidth and CPU cycles.) If your avatar is outside of these size requirements, when spotted you will be asked to resize it, and it may be removed without notice.
As this site is dedicated to childrens' TV, we request that you don't choose an avatar of your favourite attractive woman or man, nor edgy, dark humour. Rather we would appreciate it if your avatar is perhaps a character from a kids' TV show, or the such. Of course this isn't a hard and fast rule, so if you have an avatar that you use everywhere, and it's inoffensive, feel free to use it here.
Do not use potentially offensive material involving porn, religious material, animal / human cruelty or ideologically charged images. Mods have wide discretion on what is acceptable. If in doubt pm the staff. |
| :: Rules Regarding Forums |
No aggressive behaviour or flaming in the forums, and absolutely no personal attacks.
No trashing of other peoples topics (i.e. SPAM).
No language other than English in the forums.
No foul language on the main forums. As this site is themed around childrens' TV, it's possible that children will browse the forums. Please therefore keep all bad language to the "Where the Wild Things Are" forum.
No links to other torrent sites on the forums.
No requesting of invites to other torrent sites on the forum. New!
No requesting or posting of serials, CD keys, passwords or cracks in the forums.
No excessive bumping of threads. If no one has responded to your post, feel free to bump it once, but after that you should let it go. There's little more annoying on a forum than someone repeatedly bumping their own request for something, with, "PLEEZ, someone must have this!  ".
No images larger than 800x600, and preferably web-optimised.
Please ensure all questions are posted in the correct section!

Only one account per person is allowed. Duplicate accounts on the same IP will be queried, and then deleted where appropriate.

| :: Rules Regarding Uploads |
Absolutely no material that is available to buy commercially in the world is allowed on TTOKTV. If any programmes are due to be released, they will be deleted from the tracker 14 days before their release date, without exception.
If a programme has been released on DVD but has subsequently been deleted / discontinued, it will be allowed. These must not be available to buy NEW from Amazon, play.com, sendit.com etc. Items that are only available on Amazon Marketplace (i.e. used / secondhand) are fine. |
